Where human and artificial thinking meet

A lot of what is sold as AI fluency training is really capability training. Which prompts to use, which features to turn on, which model to pick. That’s just knowing how to operate the tool, and it goes out of date quickly.

Fluency is different. Fluency is ease. It’s the point where you stop thinking about the tool and start thinking with it. To get there, you have to understand how the whole thing works, including the part of it that is you.

So fluency has to start with us. We need to know how we think, which questions we ask by default and which we tend to skip, and we need to know what the tool does well and where it will confidently get it wrong.

Two people can give the same AI the same task and get completely different value from it. The difference is not the tool. It’s how each person thinks.

So that’s how I designed my new AI Fluency series:

Each is useful whether you use AI every day or have never opened it.

If you lead a team or a learning function, reply to this email and we can talk about where to start.
